From setup to propagation
Getting started with your system
Compare cell sizes
MP40 offers larger individual planting positions; the other trays fit more cells into the system format. Choose according to cell dimensions and crop requirements.
Choose the matching base
Choose an MP set with a shallow QP E base tray or a GW set with a deeper GW657 water tray. Use the mat cut to fit the selected base.
Add the right cover
Compare the contents of the selected MP or GW set. The QPE cover offered separately is intended for MP96, MP285 and MP320 trays; it does not fit the MP40 tray.
Care after sowing
Keep the mat and growing medium appropriately moist, monitor growing conditions and ventilate when using a cover.

Which cover fits MP40?
The QPE cover offered here is intended for MP96, MP285 and MP320 and does not fit the MP40 tray. It is therefore not recommended as an addition to MP40.
Do I need additional individual pots?
MP trays have integrated cells that are filled directly. Additional individual pots are not required for this setup.
What is the difference between MP and GW sets?
MP sets combine the cell tray with a shallow QP E base tray. GW sets use the deeper GW657 water tray and the separate GW657 mat size. Choose replacement bases and mats for the specific setup; cell count alone is not sufficient to identify them.
