Set up and use
This shallow support tray carries the matching 96-cell QP E tray and collects watering runoff. Recesses in its base distribute water; a compatible watering mat can be added separately.
- Match the format
Choose this support tray for the 60 × 40 cm QP E 96-cell tray. G 24 and STP trays are not treated as equivalent formats.
- Prepare the surface
Place on a level, stable, water-resistant surface and inspect for damage.
- Choose watering
Use to collect runoff. For capillary watering, use only a suitably sized mat purchased separately.
- Position containers
Fit the matching tray or suitable pots with drainage holes securely; maintain the contact required by your watering method.
- Check moisture
Check water level and actual growing-medium moisture; remove surplus standing water as needed.
- Carry and clean
Support the filled cell tray from underneath with this tray. Remove plant residues and clean after use.
