Use in six steps
285 growing positions in one connected cell tray: the base tray and capillary mat support watering from below. The lightweight cover provides approximately 5–7 cm usable height in the assembled set.
- Prepare the base
Clean the base tray and position it level.
- Prepare the mat
Lay the QP E mat flat and moisten evenly.
- Position the cell tray
Position the matching cell tray; check base openings and contact with the moist mat.
- Prepare propagation
Fill cells directly with suitable growing medium and sow or plant according to the species. Fit the supplied cover gently.
- Monitor moisture
Monitor mat and growing-medium moisture, add water as needed and avoid waterlogging. Check temperature under the cover and lift it to ventilate.
- Remove plants and clean
Gently release rooted plugs through the base openings. Clean all components and dry before longer storage.

Match light, temperature and growing medium to the species. Check moisture regularly.
Lift the cover carefully. Monitor temperature and humidity beneath it and ventilate when needed. Do not place extra loads on the thin cover.
Handling guidance
- Carry filled cell trays with a matching water tray or base tray underneath. Avoid loading individual cell edges.
- Keep escaping water away from electrical equipment and sensitive surfaces.
- Avoid overheating and persistently wet plant areas; do not load the lightweight cover.
Cleaning and storage
Remove growing-medium and plant residues, clean with water and dry before longer storage. Set damaged parts aside before reuse.
