This information describes how to use the GREEN24 online shop and its current accessibility review status. The service provider is GREEN24 GmbH, Am Neggenborn 125, 44892 Bochum, Germany.

Our service

The GREEN24 online shop lets you choose and order products for plants and gardens, including fertilisers, growing media, propagation supplies, garden tools and winter protection.

How shopping works

  1. Use the navigation, search or product categories to find products.
  2. The product page provides descriptions, prices and any available variants. Choose the option and quantity you require, then add the product to your basket.
  3. Review and change your selection in the basket.
  4. At checkout, enter the required contact and delivery details, select from the available delivery and payment methods, and review your order before submitting it with an obligation to pay.

An existing customer account also provides access to order information. Some payment methods may require additional steps with the payment provider.

Requirements and design

The relevant requirements are set out in Germany’s Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its implementing regulation (BFSGV), particularly the requirements for e-commerce services. Information and functions should be perceivable, operable, understandable and technically robust. This also covers signing in, security checks and payment.

The shop uses the following design features:

  • Text, headings and lists structure the information. Product information is provided as text on the relevant product page.
  • Links and buttons support navigation and product selection. The main menus and submenus most recently checked can be operated with a keyboard; visible focus indicators show the current position.
  • The layout adapts to different screen sizes. Selected pages have been checked at narrow mobile widths.
  • The website provides German and English content. You can report information that is difficult to access by email or telephone.

Review status

Selected pages and functions have undergone targeted technical and manual checks, including navigation, keyboard operation, focus and mobile layout. A complete conformance review of the entire shop, including checkout, external payment functions, downloadable documents and use with screen readers, has not yet been completed. We therefore cannot currently confirm that all accessibility requirements are fully met.

This statement records the current review status and is not a certification. Areas that have not been reviewed are not automatically being classified as inaccessible.
