Use in six steps
This thin, flexible plastic cover fits MP cell trays with 96, 285 or 320 cells. It supports a warmer, more humid propagation environment and has no preformed ventilation openings.
- Check compatibility
Choose MP96, MP285 or MP320 only; the 40-cell tray is excluded.
- Position the growing tray
Place the matching cell tray and its base tray level and securely.
- Fit the cover
Place the lightweight cover gently and align without pressure.
- Monitor the climate
Check temperature and humidity regularly; avoid overheating.
- Ventilate
Lift the cover for inspection and ventilation. It has no preformed vents.
- Clean and store
Remove carefully, clean and store dry without loads on top.

Match light, temperature and growing medium to the species. Check moisture regularly.
Lift the cover carefully. Monitor temperature and humidity beneath it and ventilate when needed. Do not place extra loads on the thin cover.
According to the original instructions, the thin upper corners can be opened with a knife for permanent ventilation. Work only with the cover removed on a secure surface; keep hands away from behind the cut.
The QPE cover does not fit the40-cell QP E40/8.5 tray.
Handling guidance
- Carry filled cell trays with a matching water tray or base tray underneath. Avoid loading individual cell edges.
- Keep escaping water away from electrical equipment and sensitive surfaces.
- Avoid overheating and persistently wet plant areas; do not load the lightweight cover.
Cleaning and storage
Remove growing-medium and plant residues, clean with water and dry before longer storage. Set damaged parts aside before reuse.
