QP E 285-2 Cell Tray – 285 Cells, MP

This QP E tray combines 285 growing cells in a 60 × 40 cm format. Fill the cells directly with suitable growing medium and use a matching base tray or watering tray for full support.

1. Prepare the base

   Clean the separately supplied matching base tray and position it level.

2. Prepare the mat

   For capillary watering, add and moisten a separately supplied QP E mat.

3. Position the cell tray

   Position the matching cell tray; check base openings and contact with the moist mat.

4. Prepare propagation

   Fill cells directly with suitable growing medium and sow or plant according to the species.

5. Monitor moisture

   Monitor mat and growing-medium moisture, add water as needed and avoid waterlogging.

6. Remove plants and clean

   Gently release rooted plugs through the base openings. Clean all components and dry before longer storage.

Match light, temperature and growing medium to the species. Check moisture regularly.

• Carry filled cell trays with a matching water tray or base tray underneath. Avoid loading individual cell edges.
• Keep escaping water away from electrical equipment and sensitive surfaces.

Remove growing-medium and plant residues, clean with water and dry before longer storage. Set damaged parts aside before reuse.
