GW657 Water Tray – Propagation Base

The large GW657 tray provides a reusable base for matching Euro-format cell trays. Mat and cell tray are supplied separately.

1. Prepare the workspace

   Clean the tray and place it on a level, load-bearing surface.

2. Prepare the mat

   If capillary watering is wanted, lay the separately supplied GW657 mat flat inside the tray.

3. Assemble the system

   Position suitable containers securely. For capillary watering, ensure suitable base openings and contact with the moist mat.

4. Prepare propagation

   Prepare containers for the plant species. Without a mat, the empty tray can also serve as a drip tray.

5. Monitor moisture

   Check mat and growing-medium moisture regularly. Add water to match plant needs and avoid persistent waterlogging.

6. Remove plants and clean

   After use, remove plant residues, clean the components and dry before longer storage.

Capillary watering still requires monitoring. Check demand, container contact and moisture regularly; no fixed watering duration is assumed.

• Use water-bearing components on a suitable surface. Keep escaping water away from electrical equipment.
• Avoid overfilling and persistently wet root zones.

Remove growing-medium and plant residues, clean with water and dry before longer storage. Check for damage before reuse.
