Mixing with other productsMixing, combining or applying separately
Using products as part of the same care routine is different from mixing them in one container. Follow the labels and application instructions of all products involved.
- Tank mixing: Combine products in a watering can or spray tank only when the manufacturer instructions confirm the specific combination and use. Do not mix undiluted concentrates together.
- Separate application: Applying products separately or at different times does not automatically establish compatibility. Check the species, location, plant condition and instructions for both products. No universal waiting period follows from this.
- Complementary products: A recommendation for suitable growing media, accessories or another care product does not mean that it may be mixed with the fertiliser.
- Plant protection products: The crop, target organism, application method and pack instructions must also be suitable. The fertiliser calculator does not calculate plant protection product quantities or confirm compatibility.
The recommendations cover products for different care tasks. Combining them in the same solution requires the instructions for both products to allow that combination. Otherwise, apply the products separately.

Mix your fertiliser – step by step
Prepare the amount of nutrient solution you need. The dilution depends on this product and the required amount of water.

Clean the watering can, sprayer or bucket and rinse it with clean water.

Add some water
Pour part of the calculated amount of water into the container first.

Shake, open & measure
Shake the closed bottle well. Then open it and measure the calculated concentrate dose with the dosing cap. Measure more than once if needed.
A full dosing cap holds 5 ml. Use suitable millilitre graduations for smaller amounts.

Add the concentrate
Pour the measured concentrate into the water already in the container.

Add the rest of the calculated water and mix thoroughly. Your diluted nutrient solution is ready.

Cherry laurel through the year
Cherry laurel needs a position suited to its cultivar and a free-draining root zone. Establish consistent moisture after planting. Evergreen hedges also use water in mild winter weather; this is not a reason to feed in winter. Investigate moisture, roots and soil conditions before responding to yellow leaves. Match pruning to plant condition and local wildlife protection rules.

A question before you feed?
Is FE Pro the same as the regular cherry-laurel fertiliser?
No. FE Pro is a distinct formula with NPK 8.5 + 3.8 + 5.7 and 0.10% iron. Follow the declaration and directions for the chosen product.
Do yellow leaves call for more fertiliser?
Not automatically. Wet or dry roots, soil conditions and damage can cause similar symptoms. Investigate first; do not increase the stated concentration.
When should it be used?
The label specifies every 2–4 weeks from April to September during active growth. Dormancy, drought stress and unsuitable temperatures are not reasons to feed.
Can I feed a newly planted hedge immediately?
Account for existing nutrients and root condition. Establish consistent moisture and root-to-soil contact first. Feeding does not replace watering.
How much solution does a pack make?
At 5 ml per 1.5 litres of water, 250 ml makes 75 litres of solution. The twin pack contains two bottles and makes 150 litres. Actual coverage depends on planting and water requirements.
Water or spray?
The label allows both at the same dilution. Plan them as alternative methods rather than a double feed. Apply to moist roots or treat foliage in suitable conditions, avoiding open flowers.
