Repotting in eight steps

1. Repot when root space is needed

   Check root development and the current pot. Choose a slightly larger container with clear drainage holes; do not repot unnecessarily during every display period.

2. Prepare the planting space

   Prepare a clean container with clear drainage holes and suitable additional space around the root ball. For pot culture only, not for improving garden soil.

3. Release the root ball gently

   Unpot while preserving healthy fine roots. Gently loosen a dense outer root mat without unnecessarily breaking up the ball.

4. Loosen the compost

   Loosen the ready-to-use medium and add a base layer. Account for existing nutrients rather than automatically adding starter fertiliser.

5. Retain the planting level

   Position the root-ball surface at its previous level. Do not bury the root collar or crown deeply; leave watering space in containers.

6. Fill around the sides

   Fill gaps with compost and firm lightly. Stabilise the plant without heavily compressing the medium.

7. Water in slowly

   Water slowly to settle the compost against the root ball. Allow excess water to drain completely from containers.

8. Support establishment

   After about 4–6 weeks, feed responsively during active growth. Check root moisture regularly and adapt continued care to species and cultivar.

Prepare the fertiliser separately

Once or twice weekly during active growth, according to need.

During active growth

1. Shake

   Shake the concentrate before use.

2. Prepare water

   Pour the required amount of water into a suitable container.

3. Select strength

   Use standard 100%, young plants 50%, or seedlings with leaves 20% of the basic dilution. Concentration does not determine the watering volume needed.

4. Measure concentrate

   Measure the calculated amount accurately with a suitable measuring aid.

5. Mix

   Add the concentrate to the water and mix evenly.

6. Apply as needed

   Feed the already moist root ball when nutrients are needed; do not overwater using a rigid water volume.

Do not mix the entire bottle into the bag. The compost is ready to use; dilute the concentrate separately with water.

High-moor peat (H3–H8), plant materials from forestry (wood fibre, bark humus), lava, raw clay, perlite, calcium carbonate and NPK fertiliser. Contains wetting agents to aid rewetting.

Contains boron, copper and zinc in horticulturally relevant amounts. Nutrient values apply when placed on the market, may vary naturally and may require checking before use after storage.

• pH (CaCl₂): 5.8.
• Salt content (KCl): 2.0 g/l.
• Nitrogen: 280 mg/l (CaCl₂).
• Phosphate (P₂O₅): 350 mg/l (CAL).
• Potassium oxide (K₂O): 600 mg/l (CAL).
• Magnesium (Mg): 120 mg/l (CaCl₂).

Fertiliser

• Do not use undiluted. Shake well before use.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
• Prefer low-lime water or rainwater at 15–25 °C.
• Do not fertilise in direct sunlight, below 5 °C or above 30 °C.
• Apply to the pre-moistened root zone or spray foliage. Do not spray open flowers.
• Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles when mixing and applying; use clean, chemically suitable tools and containers.

• Shake before use, measure and mix into the water.
• Account for existing nutrients and plant needs.

Dry and dark

Store above 8 °C and at no more than 38 °C.

Compost

Store under cover

Store sheltered from the weather and in the dark. Protect from drying out, excessive wetness and direct sunlight. Seal opened bags tightly and use promptly.
