Tall STP Propagation Cover – 12 cm Usable Height

The thin, lightweight cover creates a sheltered propagation space over STP cell trays for seeds, cuttings and young plants. It provides approximately 12 cm usable height and is supplied without open vents.

1. Check the system

   Choose a matching STP cell tray. This cover is not suitable for G24 cell trays.

2. Prepare propagation

   Prepare seeds, cuttings or young plants according to their growing requirements.

3. Fit the cover

   Place the thin cover carefully and check that it fits securely.

4. Monitor conditions

   Check temperature and humidity. Lift the cover to ventilate when needed.

5. Consider permanent ventilation

   The original description allows the thin upper corners to be permanently opened with a knife; these openings are not adjustable afterwards.

6. Acclimatise and store

   Gradually acclimatise plants to the surroundings. Then clean the cover gently and store it dry without placing loads on it.

Match light, temperature, sowing depth and moisture to the species. Choose cell size according to root development and the planned growing period.

• Check temperature and humidity and avoid overheating under the cover.
• Do not place loads on the thin cover; lift it carefully.
• When permanently opening the corners, handle sharp tools carefully and consider cut edges.

Remove plant and growing-medium residues, clean gently with water and allow to dry before longer storage.

Before reuse, check for cracks, dirt and a suitable fit.
