Choose the right formulation
Purital formulation K100
NPK formulation 5 + 8 + 12. Select according to the required nitrogen, phosphate and potassium ratio; the formulation code alone does not establish plant needs. The standard mixture contains 5 ml of concentrate per 3 litres of water. Suitable for soil and foliar feeding. For a particular crop or an established nutrient requirement, follow professional feeding advice; the standard dilution does not replace an individual nutrient programme.

Match formulation and need
NPK 5 + 8 + 12
NPK formulation 5 + 8 + 12. Select according to the required nitrogen, phosphate and potassium ratio; the formulation code alone does not establish plant needs.
Standard: 5 ml per 3 litres of water
First determine the water volume required. Measure 5 ml concentrate for 3 litres of water, 10 ml for 6 litres or 20 ml for 12 litres. Dose the chosen formulation separately from other concentrates according to its own nutrient programme.
Feed according to need
Plant species, actual growth and existing nutrients determine feeding. Apply according to need during the growing period only. The original label does not set a fixed weekly schedule or universal calendar months.

Mixing with other productsMixing, combining or applying separately
Using products as part of the same care routine is different from mixing them in one container. Follow the labels and application instructions of all products involved.
- Tank mixing: Combine products in a watering can or spray tank only when the manufacturer instructions confirm the specific combination and use. Do not mix undiluted concentrates together.
- Separate application: Applying products separately or at different times does not automatically establish compatibility. Check the species, location, plant condition and instructions for both products. No universal waiting period follows from this.
- Complementary products: A recommendation for suitable growing media, accessories or another care product does not mean that it may be mixed with the fertiliser.
- Plant protection products: The crop, target organism, application method and pack instructions must also be suitable. The fertiliser calculator does not calculate plant protection product quantities or confirm compatibility.
Combinations require a coordinated nutrient programme. Choosing several Purital formulations does not provide blanket approval to mix concentrates together.

Water volume and standard dilution
Standard: 5 ml per 3 litres of water
First determine the water volume required. Measure 5 ml concentrate for 3 litres of water, 10 ml for 6 litres or 20 ml for 12 litres. Dose the chosen formulation separately from other concentrates according to its own nutrient programme.
Calculate the standard mixture →Use this formulation in six steps
1. Choose the formulation
Compare the declaration of the selected formulation with the intended nutrient programme. Account for previous feeding.
2. Prepare the water
Use a clean container and measure the required water volume. Prefer low-lime water or rainwater at 15–25 °C.
3. Shake the bottle
Shake the concentrate well before use.
4. Measure accurately
For the standard dilution, measure 5 ml concentrate per 3 litres of water. One capful equals 5 ml.
5. Dilute and mix
Add concentrate to the prepared water and mix evenly. Do not use undiluted.
6. Apply according to need
Feed the pre-moistened root zone or spray the foliage; avoid open flowers. Base further applications on growth and nutrient demand.

The formulation in detail
Choose the composition deliberately
The formulation code identifies an option within the Purital system. Choose by the declared nutrient content and crop requirement. A higher code alone does not justify a stronger dilution.
Soil and foliar feeding
Understanding plant feeding
How do nutrients get into a plant?
Through the roots or through the leaves: explore four steps to discover how a plant takes up and uses nutrients.
Select a point in the picture or choose a stage.
Stage 01 / 04
Water carries nutrients to the roots
Dilute the fertiliser with water according to the label. Watering carries this nutrient solution into the soil or growing medium around the roots.
Good to knowAlways dilute the concentrate and keep to the stated dosage.
A closer look
Watering carries dissolved nutrients into the growing medium around the roots. Contact with the absorbing root surfaces is the first step.
Stage 02 / 04
Roots take up dissolved nutrients
Fine root hairs increase contact with the growing medium. Tiny transport proteins in the membranes surrounding root cells help dissolved nutrients enter the cells.
Good to knowRoots take up nutrients; they do not simply absorb all the fertiliser along with the water.
A closer look
Root hairs increase the contact area. Transport proteins in cell membranes enable mineral ions to enter; water movement and nutrient uptake are distinct processes.
Stage 03 / 04
An inner layer controls the route
On their way into the root, nutrients meet a special layer of cells. It prevents substances from simply flowing through the gaps between cells and helps the plant control uptake.
Good to knowMore fertiliser does not automatically mean better nutrition.
A closer look
Nutrients move through the root tissues. The endodermis acts as a control layer: its barrier interrupts unrestricted movement along the cell walls.
Stage 04 / 04
Transport channels carry water and nutrients
Inside the root are fine transport channels called xylem. Water and absorbed nutrients can travel through them towards shoots and leaves.
Good to knowHealthy roots and suitable growing conditions are important for nutrient supply.
A closer look
After entering the vascular tissue, nutrients can travel with the water stream in the xylem towards the shoot. Uptake and nutrient supply also depend on root health and growing conditions.

Stage 01 / 04
Diluted solution is applied to the leaf
For foliar feeding, diluted nutrient solution is sprayed onto the leaves. The product instructions tell you whether it is suitable for this use and how much to apply.
Good to knowSpray only as directed by the product instructions, never with undiluted concentrate.
A closer look
Foliar feeding places diluted nutrient solution on the leaf surface. Wetting depends on factors including the leaf surface and the solution.
Stage 02 / 04
Nutrients must cross the protective surface
The leaf surface protects the plant. Dissolved nutrients can pass through this layer; tiny openings in the leaf may also play a part. Uptake varies with the type of leaf and the conditions.
Good to knowDifferent leaves do not absorb a nutrient solution equally well.
A closer look
Dissolved nutrients can pass through the protective cuticle; pathways involving stomata may also contribute. Their relative importance varies with plant species and conditions.
Stage 03 / 04
Cells inside the leaf take up nutrients
Behind the surface lies living leaf tissue. Its cells can take up nutrients that have crossed the surface and use them for their activities.
Good to knowA droplet on a leaf does not yet mean its nutrients have been absorbed.
A closer look
After crossing the surface, nutrients can be taken up by living leaf cells. The amount depends on factors including the nutrient, formulation and environmental conditions.
Stage 04 / 04
Nutrients are used in the leaf and may move onward
The plant can use absorbed nutrients within the leaf. Some can also reach other plant parts. This depends on the nutrient and the plant's condition.
Good to knowFoliar feeding does not mean every nutrient immediately reaches the whole plant.
A closer look
Absorbed nutrients can be used within the leaf. Whether and how far they move to other plant parts depends on the nutrient and the plant's condition.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about this formulation
How much concentrate do I need?
The standard dilution is 5 ml per 3 litres of water. Use 10 ml for 6 litres or 20 ml for 12 litres. A different specialist dilution requires an appropriate professional nutrient programme.
How far does one bottle go?
At 5 ml per 3 litres of water, 250 ml makes 150 litres of prepared feed. This does not define a fixed treated area or number of plants.
How often should I feed?
According to growth and need during the growing period. The label does not specify a fixed weekly schedule; account for existing nutrients and other fertiliser applications.
Is the standard mixture suitable for every young plant?
No. Seek crop-specific advice on formulation and concentration for young or sensitive plants. The calculator only scales the verified standard mixture by water volume.
Can I combine formulations?
Combinations require a coordinated nutrient programme. Choosing several Purital formulations does not provide blanket approval to mix concentrates together.
Which nutrients does this formulation contain?
NPK formulation 5 + 8 + 12. Select according to the required nitrogen, phosphate and potassium ratio; the formulation code alone does not establish plant needs.
