For spraying or watering, depending on the authorised use. The method depends on the plant, pest and location.
View product in our shop →Repot when the mix has broken down, stays wet too long or leaves healthy roots no room. New root tips are a useful sign for establishment. Aerial roots outside the pot alone do not mean repotting is necessary.
Select a clean container with open drainage holes that just accommodates the roots. A much larger pot holds unnecessary wet medium. A clear pot makes Phalaenopsis root checks easier.
Have the selected grade, clean scissors and a work surface ready. Moisten dry bark mix evenly before filling. Clear drainage holes are needed; this sequence does not add a separate gravel or clay-pebble layer.
Loosen the pot and support the plant around its roots. Ease decomposed bark out of the spaces; do not tear off firmly attached pieces. If necessary, cut the old plastic pot rather than break healthy roots.
Use clean tools to remove soft, rotten or hollow dead roots. Keep firm roots, including pale or silvery ones. Do not cut by colour alone, and protect new root tips.
Keep the leaf bases and crown of Phalaenopsis above the medium. On orchids with rhizomes and pseudobulbs, leave these exposed and allow room for the next growth. Do not force outward-growing aerial roots into the pot.
Work small amounts of fresh mix between the roots. Tap the pot gently to fill large spaces without packing tightly. The plant should stand securely; support it carefully if needed until new roots anchor it.
Keep in bright light protected from strong direct sun. Time the first watering to root injuries, initial medium moisture and the species’ needs. Let subsequent watering drain fully; remove water from the outer pot and leaf axils. Resume feeding only when appropriate to growth.
5 ml per 2.5 l of water.
Every 1–2 weeks during the growing season.
Regular application period: January–December, only during active growth.
| Water | Standard 100 % | Young plants 50 % | Seedlings with leaves 20 % |
|---|---|---|---|

Shake the concentrate before use.
Pour the required amount of water into a suitable container.
Use standard 100%, young plants 50%, or seedlings with leaves 20% of the basic dilution. Concentration does not determine the watering volume needed.
Measure the calculated amount accurately with a suitable measuring aid.
Add the concentrate to the water and mix evenly.
Feed the already moist root ball when nutrients are needed; do not overwater using a rigid water volume.
Do not mix the entire bottle into the bag. The compost is ready to use; dilute the concentrate separately with water.
Orchid Repotting Set MK: 10 litres of ready-to-use repotting compost and 250 ml liquid concentrate for later feeding according to need.
Its own bag label gives 2 to 3 weeks before starting suitable supplementary feeding. Assess the need first for dormant or damaged plants.
NPK 2.5 + 5.2 + 5.3
Declared nutrient percentages. Product pH: 6.7.
Product pH describes the concentrate, not a guaranteed pH of soil or diluted feed solution.
Included: 10 litres · MK medium (approximately 0–35 mm)
FK fine: approximately 0–15 mm. MK medium: approximately 0–35 mm. GK coarse: approximately 0–50 mm. Bag size does not change the grade.
The mix contains bark pieces and fibres. Fill loosely to retain air spaces. The ranges describe approximate particle sizes.
Own bag declaration for all six variants
The following values match on the original FK, MK and GK bags in both 5 and 10 litres. Declared values apply when placed on the market and may vary naturally. The medium’s pH does not guarantee the later pH of irrigation water.
Included: one 10-litre bag of compost and one 250 ml bottle of fertiliser. Plant and pot are not included.
Plant profile and care calendar
This set contains only MK, medium grade approximately 0–35 mm, in a 10-litre bag. These instructions cover rooted epiphytic potted orchids; terrestrial orchids and specialist growing methods need a species-specific mix and instructions.
Ready to use · select grade for roots and growing conditions
The mix is intended for potting and repotting orchids; the label specifies use only in cultivation separate from natural ground soil. Watering, pot size and grade work together; the orchid genus alone does not determine the choice.
Its own bag label gives 2 to 3 weeks before starting suitable supplementary feeding. Assess the need first for dormant or damaged plants.
Dry · dark · above 8 °C to a maximum of 38 °C
Store in a dry, dark place above 8 °C and at no more than 38 °C.
Avoid raising dust when filling and wash hands afterwards. The growing medium is not for consumption.
Sheltered and dark · use opened bags promptly
Store sheltered from weather and protect from drying out, excessive wetness and direct sunlight. Seal opened bags tightly and use promptly.

The plant species, photographs and details of location, moisture and previous care help assess plant damage. Identify the cause and a suitable application before treatment.
More fertiliser is not a general solution to growing problems. A recommendation to buy products together does not confirm that they can be mixed.
