Repotting in eight steps

1. Choose a suitable pot

   Choose a stable container with a little space for the existing root ball and rhizomes. A greatly oversized pot stays damp longer after watering.

2. Check drainage

   Use a container with clear drainage holes. Use a saucer or outer pot so that water cannot remain pooled after watering.

3. Remove the plant carefully

   Loosen the container and lift the snake plant by its root ball. Do not use the leaves or rhizomes as levers.

4. Check the roots

   Gently remove loose old compost. Keep healthy roots; remove soft or dead areas with a clean tool and let substantial fresh cuts dry.

5. Prepare the compost

   Loosen the ready-to-use mix and add a first layer. Do not add extra starter fertiliser.

6. Keep the previous planting level

   Position the root ball at its previous level. Fill and firm gently without burying leaf bases deeper.

7. Respond to moisture

   With intact roots, water gently as needed rather than soaking continuously. Let larger root cuts dry before watering. Allow excess water to drain.

8. Choose light and ongoing care

   Let the compost dry between watering. Start suitable feeding no earlier than four weeks after repotting during growth, and reduce inputs in low light.

Prepare the fertiliser separately

Add one capful (5 ml) to 2.5 l of water for watering or spraying.

Every 3–4 weeks during the growing season.

Label application period: March–October; follow the plant's growing season.

1. Shake

   Shake the concentrate before use.

2. Prepare water

   Pour the required amount of water into a suitable container.

3. Select strength

   Use standard 100%, young plants 50%, or seedlings with leaves 20% of the basic dilution. Concentration does not determine the watering volume needed.

4. Measure concentrate

   Measure the calculated amount accurately with a suitable measuring aid.

5. Mix

   Add the concentrate to the water and mix evenly.

6. Apply as needed

   Feed the already moist root ball when nutrients are needed; do not overwater using a rigid water volume.

Do not mix the entire bottle into the bag. The compost is ready to use; dilute the concentrate separately with water.

High-moor peat (H3–H8), forestry plant materials (coconut fibre, wood fibre, bark humus), expanded clay, perlite, lava, calcium carbonate and NPK fertiliser. Includes a wetting agent for easier rewetting.

Contains boron, copper and zinc in horticulturally relevant amounts. Nutrient values apply when placed on the market, may vary naturally and may require checking before use after storage.

• pH (CaCl₂): 6.0.
• Salt content (KCl): 1.0 g/l.
• Nitrogen: 140 mg/l (CaCl₂).
• Phosphate (P₂O₅): 170 mg/l (CAL).
• Potassium oxide (K₂O): 300 mg/l (CAL).

• Do not apply in direct sunlight or at temperatures below 5 °C or above 30 °C.
• Apply to a pre-moistened root zone or spray the foliage. Do not spray open flowers.

Store under cover

Store sheltered from the weather and in the dark. Protect from drying out, excessive wetness and direct sunlight. Seal opened bags tightly and use promptly.
