STP Capillary Mat for QuickPot Support Trays

The mat transfers water from a matching STP support tray to the container bases. It is cut slightly smaller than the 33.5 × 51.5 cm support-tray format.

1. Compare formats

   The mat is intended for STP support trays with a 33.5 × 51.5 cm system footprint; its cut size is slightly smaller.

2. Clean the support tray

   Clean a matching support tray, inspect it for damage and position it horizontally.

3. Lay out the mat

   Lay the mat flat without folds and moisten it evenly.

4. Position containers

   Add suitable containers with bottom openings and check that their bases contact the mat.

5. Check water transfer

   Check water supply and growing-medium moisture regularly. Reposition containers if contact with the mat is interrupted.

6. Care for the mat

   Remove plant residues and deposits; replace if damaged and allow to dry before storage.
