Kalium+ combines NPK 3.7+6+9 with a clear dilution. Explore how roots and leaves absorb nutrients and what matters through the season.
Seasonal concentrate for plants needing nutrition ahead of the cold season.
Label period August to December or during the growing season before frost; every 4–8 weeks as needed.
Consider location, moisture and winter care for the particular plant species.

Enter a valid positive water volume.
Have a clean watering can and water ready.
Choose the water volume actually needed; do not estimate plant size.
Put some of the water in the watering can.
Shake before use and measure the calculated concentrate volume.
Add 5 ml for each 1.5 l of water.
Top up to the selected water volume and mix well. Apply only if nutrients are needed.
When to apply? The label states every 4–8 weeks from August to December, or during the growing season before frost. Apply only when nutrients are needed.
Pre-moisten the root zone and apply the mixture there. Feed only during the growing season and where nutrients are needed.
Spray the foliage with the diluted solution. Avoid open flower heads, direct sunlight and temperatures below 5 °C or above 30 °C.

NPK 3.7+6+9 and declared trace nutrients for needs-based root or foliar feeding.
Phosphate, potassium oxide and the listed trace nutrients are declared water-soluble. Mix 5 ml of concentrate per 1.5 l of water.
Copper, iron, manganese and zinc are listed as water-soluble EDTA chelates.
Alongside NPK, boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc are declared. Full percentages appear in the product information.
Preferably use low-lime or rainwater at 15–25 °C. The stated product pH of 6.9 describes the concentrate, not a guaranteed pH of the diluted mix.
Use a clean watering can or sprayer. Shake the concentrate before use and measure carefully.

Autumn and winter care starts with the plant species and its location. A tree growing in garden soil and a container plant in winter accommodation need different attention.

Measure the concentrate for the required water volume and mix thoroughly. The illustrated steps guide preparation; this product’s dilution and timing appear in the information section.

Fine roots take up water and dissolved minerals; leaves use light and may also absorb diluted foliar feed. Conducting tissues connect plant parts. Actual needs depend on species, site and growth stage.
Root hairs enlarge the contact area with moist growing medium. Oxygen and suitable moisture are important for uptake. Pre-moisten the root zone before feeding as directed by the label.
The leaf surface protects living tissue. Spray a foliar feed finely onto the foliage; avoid open flower heads. Uptake and nutrient needs vary with species and conditions.
Water and mineral nutrients can move upwards through the xylem. Sugars made in leaves travel through other conducting tissue. Plant height does not determine the amount of fertiliser needed.
Nitrogen contributes to proteins and leaf pigment, phosphorus to energy transfer, and potassium to water balance. The original label describes the formula for cell strength and better resistance to the effects of frost.
Explore nutrient uptake
Two routes into a plant: from the root zone and leaf surface to living cells.
Select a point in the picture or choose a stage.
Stage 01 / 04
The diluted mixture reaches fine roots. Dissolved nutrients are present in the moist growing medium.
Good to knowAlways dilute concentrate and follow the label rate.

Stage 02 / 04
Root hairs enlarge the contact area. Transport proteins in cell membranes help take up mineral ions.
Good to knowWater movement and nutrient uptake are different processes.

Stage 03 / 04
Controlled steps in root tissue lie between the surface and conducting tissue. Nutrients do not simply wash into the plant.
Good to knowMore fertiliser does not automatically improve nutrition.

Stage 04 / 04
Absorbed minerals can move upwards through xylem with the water stream to shoots and leaves.
Good to knowHealthy roots and suitable growing conditions support nutrition.

Stage 01 / 04
In a foliar application, the diluted mix reaches the leaf surface. Avoid open flower heads.
Good to knowFoliar feeding belongs to the same feeding plan.
In a foliar application, the diluted mix reaches the leaf surface. Avoid open flower heads.
Stage 02 / 04
Depending on species and conditions, dissolved nutrients may pass the protective surface; small openings may also contribute.
Good to knowNot every leaf absorbs a nutrient solution equally well.

Stage 03 / 04
Living cells behind the surface can absorb nutrients that enter and use them for their functions.
Good to knowA droplet on a leaf is not yet an absorbed nutrient.
Living cells behind the surface can absorb nutrients that enter and use them for their functions.
Stage 04 / 04
The plant may use nutrients in the leaf; some may move to other parts, depending on nutrient and plant condition.
Good to knowFoliar feeding does not instantly supply the whole plant.

Seasonal application
From August to December, follow plant needs and the label dilution. Consider nutrients already supplied and the actual growing season.
During the growing season, a needs-based application may form part of seasonal nutrition. Plan location, moisture and winter protection for the species.
Do not force additional feeding during rest. Adapt care to the condition of the individual plant.
The label period is an application window. Actual needs depend on species, site and previous feeding.

The mixing dilution remains 5 ml per 1.5 l of water. How much solution and whether nutrients are needed depends on the individual plant.
Consider limited root space, drainage and previous feeding. Do not infer water volume from pot size alone.
Check soil moisture and nutrients already supplied. The label dilution sets mixture concentration, not the total amount needed.
Assess cold sensitivity, moisture and suitable protection by species and location. Fertiliser complements care; it does not replace it.
Mix 5 ml with 1.5 l of water. The calculator determines only the mixing volume for the water entered; it does not determine an individual nutrient requirement.
The label states every 4–8 weeks from August to December, or during the growing season before periods of frost. Feed only if the individual plant needs nutrients.
No. Fertiliser cannot guarantee frost tolerance or protection from frost damage. Location, moisture and winter protection remain separate care decisions.
At the label dilution, 250 ml of concentrate makes a calculated 75 l of solution, 2 × 250 ml makes 150 l and 1 l makes 300 l. These figures do not recommend how much solution to apply.
