A clean cut with controlled handling
FELCO 13 has an extra-long left handle. This right-handed model can be operated with one or both hands, with the second hand gripping the extended handle. Rated cutting capacity is up to 30 mm.
Rated cutting capacity is up to 30 mm. Wood species, condition and hand strength affect comfortable cutting. Use suitable loppers or a saw for thicker branches.
- Check the fit
A right-handed model for large hands. For two-handed use, place the second hand securely on the extended left handle, keeping both hands behind the cutting head.
- Position the cut
Keep the blade towards the part of the plant you are retaining. Place the shoot deep within the open cutting head.
- Close smoothly
Close the handles smoothly, using both hands on the handles when needed. Do not lever sideways or allow hands into the cutting area.
- After pruning
Remove sap and dirt, dry the tool and apply a little oil to moving parts.
