A clean cut with controlled handling
FELCO 10 is a left-handed model with a rotating handle and angled cutting head. The handle follows the fingers as it closes, and the cutting head can be precisely adjusted.
Rated cutting capacity is up to 25 mm. Wood species, condition and hand strength affect comfortable cutting. Use suitable loppers or a saw for thicker branches.
- Check the fit
FELCO 10 is designed for large left hands. Check that you can open and close the handles comfortably without changing your grip. Allow the rotating handle to move with your fingers.
- Position the cut
Keep the blade towards the part of the plant you are retaining. Place the shoot deep within the open cutting head.
- Close smoothly
Apply steady pressure without levering sideways. Keep your free hand away from the cutting area.
- After pruning
Remove sap and dirt, dry the tool and apply a little oil to moving parts.
