Repotting in eight steps

1. Check whether repotting is needed

   Check root development and compost structure before repotting. Work near the start of active growth where possible.

2. Choose a suitable container

   Choose a stable pot with a little space beside the root ball. An oversized container can remain wet around a small root system.

3. Provide free drainage

   Keep drainage holes open. Ensure you can empty the outer pot or saucer later.

4. Release the root ball gently

   Support the root ball and release it gently from the old pot. Retain healthy roots and avoid pulling leaves or stems.

5. Keep the original planting depth

   Retain the existing crown level. Do not bury or damage new croziers or a tree fern’s growing point.

6. Fill around the root ball

   Add fresh compost beneath and beside the root ball. Close large air pockets gently and leave a watering rim without compacting the medium hard.

7. Water and allow drainage

   Check moisture in the old root ball and fresh compost after planting. Moisten as needed and allow excess water to drain.

8. Follow establishment

   After 4–6 weeks, begin supplementary feeding as directed on the label where growth and nutrient supply require it. Account for soil reserves outdoors and initial compost nutrients in pots.

Prepare the fertiliser separately

5 ml per 1 l water.

Every 1–2 weeks during active growth.

Regular application period: March–October.

1. Shake

   Shake the concentrate before use.

2. Prepare water

   Pour the required amount of water into a suitable container.

3. Select strength

   Use standard 100%, young plants 50%, or seedlings with leaves 20% of the basic dilution. Concentration does not determine the watering volume needed.

4. Measure concentrate

   Measure the calculated amount accurately with a suitable measuring aid.

5. Mix

   Add the concentrate to the water and mix evenly.

6. Apply as needed

   Feed the already moist root ball when nutrients are needed; do not overwater using a rigid water volume.

Do not mix the entire bottle into the bag. The compost is ready to use; dilute the concentrate separately with water.

Raised-bog peat H2–H8, conifer bark, coir, perlite, raw clay, lava, calcium carbonate and NPK(Mg) fertiliser; with wetting agents.

Values refer to the time the product is placed on the market. Nutrient levels can change in storage; check before later use.

• pH (CaCl₂): 5.6.
• Salt content (KCl): 1.5 g/l.
• Nitrogen (N): 170 mg/l (CaCl₂).

• Potassium oxide (K₂O): 320 mg/l (CAL).

Fertiliser

• Do not use undiluted. Shake well before use.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
• Preferably use low-lime water or rainwater at 15–25 °C.
• Do not apply in direct sunlight or at temperatures below 5 °C or above 30 °C.
• Apply to a pre-moistened root zone or spray the foliage. Do not spray open flowers.

Dry · dark · above 8 °C to a maximum of 38 °C

Store in a dry, dark place above 8 °C and at no more than 38 °C.

Compost

Minimise dust and do not inhale it. Avoid eye contact and prolonged skin contact.

Keep away from food and animal feed, out of reach of children and animals. Wash hands after use.

Store protected from weather, in dry and dark conditions; protect against drying out, excessive moisture and direct sun. Reseal opened packaging tightly and use promptly.
