Lightweight Cover for G24 Cell Trays

This lightweight cover turns compatible G24 cell trays into a covered propagator. It provides approximately 5–7 cm of usable height above its seating surface; check temperature and humidity regularly.

The thin, lightweight cover sits on a compatible tray. It is not suitable for STP trays.

1. Check the format

   Use only with compatible G24 cell trays measuring approximately 53 × 31 cm; STP trays are explicitly excluded.

2. Check plant height

   Allow for approximately 5–7 cm usable height. Do not press foliage against the cover.

3. Fit the cover

   Handle the thin cover gently around its edges and seat it correctly.

4. Monitor conditions

   Observe temperature, humidity and condensation and ventilate as needed. The cover has no factory-opened vents.

5. Assess permanent ventilation

   The source describes thin corner sections for permanent openings. Assess the actual ventilation need before making an irreversible modification.

6. Clean and store

   Remove plant debris, clean gently and store dry without pressure on the cover.

• Check temperature and humidity regularly; do not let plants overheat under the closed cover.
• Lift the thin, lightweight cover carefully and do not load it.
• If permanently opening the corners, handle sharp tools carefully and consider cut edges.

Clean gently with water, remove growing-medium residues and allow to dry before storage.

Check for cracks and a suitable fit before reuse.
