XL565 Watering Set – Tray with Capillary Mat

The watertight XL565 tray and matching standard capillary mat form a watering base. Suitable propagating pots sit with their bases on the moist mat to receive water from below.

1. Prepare the base

   Clean the supplied watertight XL565 tray and position it level.

2. Insert the mat

   Lay the mat flat on the tray base.

3. Moisten the mat

   Moisten evenly with water to establish capillary water supply.

4. Position containers

   Stand suitable propagating containers with their bases directly contacting the moist mat.

5. Monitor moisture

   Check mat and growing-medium moisture regularly and add water as needed. Avoid overfilling and match the plants’ needs.

6. Clean and reuse

   Remove plant residues, clean the mat and tray and dry before longer storage.

Match moisture and water supply to the species, container and location. The tray does not replace regular checks.

The mat distributes water by capillary action. The specification of up to 3 L/m² describes the mat, not a guaranteed watering duration.

The grid/culture plate for square pots does not fit this tray. Similar outer dimensions alone do not establish compatibility with other accessories.

• Use water-bearing parts on a suitable surface and keep escaping water away from electrical equipment.
• Avoid overfilling and persistently wet root zones.

Remove plant and growing-medium residues, clean with water and dry before longer storage. Check for damage before reuse.

Empty, dry trays can be stacked for compact storage.
