Repotting in eight steps

1. Match species and site

   Identify the fir or spruce species and allow enough room for its mature crown.

2. Prepare planting space

   Loosen garden soil. In containers, choose a stable pot with clear drainage holes.

3. Release the root ball gently

   Unpot while keeping the root ball together and preserving healthy fine roots. Gently loosen a dense outer root mat.

4. Loosen the medium

   Loosen the ready-to-use compost and add a suitable base layer. Do not automatically add starter fertiliser.

5. Retain planting depth

   Keep the trunk base at its previous level. Do not bury the root collar; leave watering space in pots.

6. Fill around the ball

   Fill the sides and firm lightly. Form a shallow watering basin in the bed.

7. Water in thoroughly

   Water slowly to settle the medium around the roots. Empty saucers and check drainage.

8. Support establishment

   Check root moisture regularly. Feed responsively after about 6–8 weeks during active growth; adapt location and winter care to the species.

Prepare the fertiliser separately

Every 2–3 weeks during active growth.

During active growth when needed

1. Shake

   Shake the concentrate before use.

2. Prepare water

   Pour the required amount of water into a suitable container.

3. Select strength

   Use standard 100%, young plants 50%, or seedlings with leaves 20% of the basic dilution. Concentration does not determine the watering volume needed.

4. Measure concentrate

   Measure the calculated amount accurately with a suitable measuring aid.

5. Mix

   Add the concentrate to the water and mix evenly.

6. Apply as needed

   Feed the already moist root ball when nutrients are needed; do not overwater using a rigid water volume.

Do not mix the entire bottle into the bag. The compost is ready to use; dilute the concentrate separately with water.

• pH (CaCl₂): 4.8.
• Salt content (KCl): 1.0 g/l.
• Nitrogen: 120 mg/l (CaCl₂).
• Phosphate (P₂O₅): 140 mg/l (CAL).
• Potassium oxide (K₂O): 200 mg/l (CAL).
• Magnesium (Mg): 80 mg/l (CaCl₂).
• Sulphur (S): 100 mg/l (CaCl₂).

Fertiliser

• Do not use undiluted. Shake well before use.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
• Prefer low-lime water or rainwater at 15–25 °C.
• Do not fertilise in direct sunlight, below 5 °C or above 30 °C.
• Apply to the pre-moistened root zone or spray foliage. Do not spray open flowers.

• Shake before use, measure and mix into the water.
• Account for existing nutrients and plant needs.

Dry and dark

Store above 8 °C and at no more than 38 °C.

Compost

Store under cover

Store sheltered from the weather and in the dark. Protect from drying out, excessive wetness and direct sunlight. Seal opened bags tightly and use promptly.
