Set up and use
Grey polypropylene slotted pots for hydroponics. Slots of approximately 31 × 5 mm provide side openings for contact between roots, growing medium and irrigation.
- Check the fit

- Inspect openings
Check for damage and keep side and base openings clear.
- Choose growing medium
Use a medium suited to the plant and hydroponic method, with particles that will not fall through the openings.
- Position the plant
Handle roots gently and stabilise the plant in the medium. Do not pull established roots through narrow openings.
- Adjust irrigation
Set water level and nutrient supply for the species and cultivation system; the pot does not regulate irrigation.
- Monitor and clean
Check roots and water supply regularly. Remove residues after use and reuse only undamaged pots.
