Making planting holes
Position the tool vertically and press the tapered steel blade into the soil. Lift out the loosened soil. Account for soil conditions and the required planting depth.
After use
Remove soil and store the tool dry. Before use, check the handle and steel blade for damage and secure attachment.
Safe use
- Keep a secure footing and keep hands and feet clear of the steel blade.
- Check for buried services before penetrating the ground.
