Prepare and use
Keep your orchid roots in view. These transparent polypropylene pots combine clear walls with a stepped base. Choose a size to suit the root ball and a pack quantity to suit your needs.
- Choose a suitable size
Match the pot to the existing root ball. Check diameter, height and capacity in the size guide.
- Prepare the pot and work area
Check the empty pot for damage and unobstructed drainage openings. Prepare a water-resistant work surface and suitable orchid growing medium.
- Remove the orchid gently
Ease the root ball out of its previous pot. Remove loose old medium without unnecessarily damaging healthy roots.
- Position the plant
Arrange the roots gently in the new pot and fill the gaps with suitable medium. Avoid burying the plant base and delicate shoots too deeply.
- Check moisture and drainage
Adjust the first watering to the plant condition and the medium used. Let excess water drain and do not leave it standing permanently in a cover pot.
- Observe roots and reuse
Check roots and growing medium through the clear wall. After the next repotting, remove residues and reuse clean, undamaged pots.

Which size corresponds to which capacity?
The 11.4 cm diameter pot is 10.8 cm tall and holds 0.74 l; the 14.7 cm pot is 12.5 cm tall and holds 1.30 l; the 17.0 cm pot is 14.8 cm tall and holds 1.85 l. All figures apply to one pot.
How many pots will I receive?
Choose a pack of 5, 10, 20 or 50 empty pots. All pots in the pack have the selected size.
Why choose transparent walls?
You can inspect roots and growing medium from outside. Assess watering needs from the plant and medium; clear walls do not replace moisture checks.
Are plants or growing medium included?
No. Only the selected empty pots are supplied.
Can I use a decorative cover pot?
Choose a sufficiently large cover pot and empty any drained water. Compare actual outer dimensions rather than relying only on nominal pot sizes.
