KGT Capillary Mat – 55 × 35 cm

The white cut-to-size mat fits the KGT tray and distributes water by capillary action to suitable containers. It can be used to add or replace a KGT mat.

1. Prepare the workspace

   Clean the separately supplied tray and place it on a level, load-bearing surface.

2. Prepare the mat

   Lay the KGT mat flat inside the separately supplied tray and moisten evenly.

3. Assemble the system

   Position suitable containers securely. For capillary watering, ensure suitable base openings and contact with the moist mat.

4. Prepare propagation

   Check contact between container bases and the mat. Water supply requires suitable containers and sufficient contact.

5. Monitor moisture

   Check mat and growing-medium moisture regularly. Add water to match plant needs and avoid persistent waterlogging.

6. Remove plants and clean

   After use, remove plant residues, clean the components and dry before longer storage.

Remove growing-medium and plant residues, clean with water and dry before longer storage. Check for damage before reuse.
