- Prepare the saw
Remove the saw from its sheath and check the blade and handle are secure.
- Secure your position
Use a stable stance and keep the work area clear. Keep the supporting hand away from the cutting line.
- Cut on the pull stroke
Start with short pulls, then use the blade length in a controlled way. Reduce pressure on the return stroke and avoid bending the blade sideways.
- Store safely
Remove residues, return the saw to its sheath and check the retaining mechanism.
