A clean cut with controlled handling
FELCO 611 has a long straight blade for pruning on the pull stroke. Protect the fixed blade for transport in the supplied sheath, which can be worn on either side of the belt.
- Inspect the saw
Remove it from the sheath and check blade fastening and handle. The blade is fixed, not folding.
- Prepare the cut
Use a stable stance and clear the work area. Keep hands out of the cutting line.
- Cut on the pull stroke
Start with short pulls, then use the blade length under control. Reduce pressure on the return stroke; do not lever sideways.
- Clean and protect
Remove sawdust, dry the blade and secure it in its sheath. Check the belt loop before carrying.
