Four application steps
FELCO 231 combines geared anvil loppers with 800 mm overall length and cutting capacity up to 40 mm. The curved anvil supports the branch during cutting, while gearing assists force transmission.
- Prepare the work area
Establish secure footing and inspect the branch and its fall direction. Keep other people clear.
- Position with both hands
Hold one handle in each hand. Place the branch deep in the open cutting head and respect the stated capacity.
- Cut under control
Close the handles smoothly. Support the branch on the curved anvil. Do not lever or twist sideways.
- Clean and inspect
Remove residues and dry the cutting surfaces. Check gearing, joint and fastenings before the next use; follow the model instructions for maintenance.
