Four application steps
FELCO 220 combines geared bypass loppers with 800 mm overall length and cutting capacity up to 40 mm. The bypass head moves the blade past its counterblade, assisted by protected gearing.
- Prepare the work area
Establish secure footing and inspect the branch and its fall direction. Keep other people clear.
- Position with both hands
Hold one handle in each hand. Place the branch deep in the open cutting head and respect the stated capacity.
- Cut under control
Close the handles smoothly. Face the sharp blade towards the plant material being retained. Do not lever or twist sideways.
- Clean and inspect
Remove residues and dry the cutting surfaces. Check gearing, joint and fastenings before the next use; follow the model instructions for maintenance.
