Use
Anchor and tension garden structures with a galvanised steel ground screw. Choose the 40 or 80 cm version to suit the ground and intended use.
Wear protective gloves. Drive in until the screw touches the ground. Insert a suitable bar through the eye and turn into the soil. Thorough watering 1–2 days beforehand may help in hard ground.
Dimensions and contents
- 40 cm: 10 mm rod diameter and 80 mm screw diameter.
- 80 cm: 13 mm rod diameter and 120 mm screw diameter.
- One anchor in the selected size. Hammer, turning bar and guy lines are not included.
- For tree ties and suitable guy lines; holding strength depends on soil type, density and installation.
Care and handling
Metal edges can be sharp: wear protective gloves against cuts. Check the anchoring and tension regularly, especially after strong wind or rain.
