Use in six steps
The QP 15T15 BTP tray provides 15 deep, connected propagation cells for woody plants, conifers and other plants needing suitable root space. Its compact 28 × 36 cm footprint combines with cell dimensions of 65 × 65 × 150 mm.
- Prepare the tray
Clean the tray and check for damage. Choose a level, load-bearing position with unobstructed drainage.
- Add growing medium
Fill the cells evenly with a propagation medium suited to the plant species. Keep the base openings unobstructed.
- Sow or insert cuttings
Add seed or prepared cuttings. Choose sowing depth, covering and spacing according to the species.
- Water in
Moisten the medium evenly and allow excess water to drain. Do not leave the tray permanently standing in water.
- Monitor the plants
Check moisture, light and temperature regularly for the species. Water as needed and adapt growing-on care to plant development.
- Remove plugs and clean
Gently release well-rooted plugs through the base openings. Do not pull the shoots. Remove residues afterwards, clean the tray and store dry.

Choose the right BTP model
Within the same tray footprint, the models differ in cell count, width and depth. Choose according to the species and time until potting on. Base openings, spacing feet and the angled perforated base support drainage; the supporting surface must allow water to escape.
