Use
Protect newly formed slopes and banks with natural-fibre mesh. Choose lighter jute or heavier coir mesh, which decomposes more slowly.
Lay over the prepared slope, keep in contact with the ground and secure with suitable stakes. Adapt overlaps and fixing distances to the slope and soil.
Dimensions and contents
- Both are 2 m wide; quantity 1 means 1 running metre, covering 2 m².
- Jute: natural fibre, approximately 10 × 10 mm mesh and 250 g/m².
- Coir: approximately 2 × 2 cm mesh; heavier and slower to decompose than jute.
- Fixing stakes are available separately.
Care and handling
Check for undercutting and loose fixings after heavy rain. Natural fibres decompose over time.
