Set up and use
Reusable square polypropylene pots for propagation and transplanting. Choose from five sizes holding approximately 0.27 to 1.50 litres per pot and packs of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 100. The raised perforated base supports drainage.
- Choose the size
Choose dimensions and volume to suit the plant and its root ball. The selected pack determines the number of pots supplied.
- Inspect the pots
Check for damage and keep drainage holes clear. Prepare a suitable support tray.
- Add growing medium
Loosely fill with a medium suited to the species and growth stage.
- Plant or sow
Place plants or seeds at the appropriate depth and handle delicate roots gently.
- Water in
Water as required and allow surplus water to drain. Check moisture regularly afterwards.
- Continue growing
Once sufficiently rooted, gently remove the plant and transplant as needed. Clean empty pots and reuse them if undamaged.

Practical care

Handling guidance
- Use on a level, load-bearing, water-resistant surface.
- Support filled parts securely; keep water away from electrical equipment.
Cleaning and storage
Remove residues, clean gently as needed and allow to dry before storage. Replace damaged parts.

Are these inserts for a particular tray system?
Compare the width, depth and height of your selected pot size with the opening dimensions of your propagation tray or support tray. Keep drainage openings clear.
The right size for your propagation
Five sizes from 7 to 13 cm and six pack quantities let you choose pots for your plants. The image shows the 7 cm size.
Raised perforated base
The raised perforated base allows excess water to drain. Keep the openings clear when positioning the pots. The image shows the base of the 7 cm example.
Reuse and continue growing
After transplanting, clean the empty pots and reuse them if undamaged. The planted 7 cm pots illustrate an application; empty pots in your selected size and pack are supplied.
