Rose Fertilizer Blütentraum 250ml – NPK Liquid Fertilizer for All Rose Varieties | More Blooms, Deeper Fragrance, Richer Colours | Soil and Foliar Application
Bring Your Rose Garden to Life
Roses are high-performance plants. Anyone who has witnessed a well-nourished rose blooming continuously from June through October understands why the right fertilizer makes all the difference. The GREEN24 Rose Fertilizer Blütentraum is a highly effective NPK liquid fertilizer with a formula focused on a single goal: maximum, long-lasting floral abundance for all rose varieties.
The Science Behind the Bloom Explosion
The secret lies in the nutrient ratio. While many universal fertilizers prioritize nitrogen – which mainly promotes leaf growth – the Blütentraum formula relies on a phosphorus-potassium dominance. Phosphorus is the key building block for the formation of new flower buds; a high phosphorus level signals to the rose: "time to bloom". Potassium produces large, stable, and colour-rich flowers, enhances fragrance, and strengthens the longevity of each individual bloom as well as the overall plant. The nitrogen content is deliberately moderate so that the rose channels its energy into flowers rather than foliage.
Trace Elements as Fragrance and Colour Enhancers
What sets this fertilizer apart from basic fertilizers are the chelated trace elements. Iron (Fe-EDTA), manganese (Mn-EDTA), zinc (Zn-EDTA), and copper (Cu-EDTA) are present in a form that can be directly absorbed by the plant – regardless of soil pH. Boron supports pollen transport and therefore flower fertility. Molybdenum supports nitrogen metabolism. The interaction of these elements demonstrably promotes the production of essential oils and anthocyanin pigments, which translates directly into more intense fragrance and vibrant colours.
Nutrient Composition (NPK 6.5+8.0+9.0 with Trace Elements)
- Total Nitrogen (N) 6.5%: of which 1.6% nitrate nitrogen, 1.8% ammonium nitrogen, 3.0% carbamide nitrogen
- Phosphate (P₂O₅) 8.0%: water-soluble phosphate for direct bud formation
- Potassium oxide (K₂O) 9.0%: water-soluble potassium for bloom quality and plant health
- Boron (B) 0.01%: water-soluble
- Copper (Cu) 0.004%: chelated with EDTA
- Iron (Fe) 0.02%: chelated with EDTA
- Manganese (Mn) 0.012%: chelated with EDTA
- Molybdenum (Mo) 0.001%: water-soluble
- Zinc (Zn) 0.004%: chelated with EDTA
Which Roses Is This Fertilizer Suitable For?
The Blütentraum fertilizer has been developed as a universal specialist fertilizer for all rose classes. Whether tea hybrids (hybrid tea roses) with their large single blooms on long stems, floribunda bed roses with their clustered floral abundance, romantic English roses (David Austin types), climbing roses and ramblers on pergolas and fences, or compact miniature and ground-cover roses in pots and window boxes – the formula suits them all. Wild roses and historic rose classes also benefit from the balanced nutrient supply.
Dosage and Application
- Basic dosage: 3 ml per 1 litre of water (as soil or foliar fertilization)
- Frequency: every 1 to 2 weeks from April to August
- Tip for repeat flowering: Fertilize directly after the first flush fades and after pruning – this encourages the rose to push new growth and buds more quickly
- Yield: 250 ml produces approximately 80 litres of ready-to-use fertilizer solution
- pH value of solution: 6.2 – optimal for nutrient availability
- Application note: Use low-lime water or rainwater at 15–25 °C where possible. Do not apply in direct sunlight or at temperatures below 5 °C or above 30 °C.
